Story outline:

After almost getting captured, Hiraman vows to himself that he will never help any dark marketeer nor transport bamboo. This episode costs him his bullock-truck, however, he managed to get his two bulls away in time. He figures out how to set aside enough cash to purchase another truck, and is procured to take a female on a 30-hour ride to a Mela. He hence finds that his the traveler is an alluring lady, Hira Bai, and he becomes hopelessly enamored with her - small realizing that she is a voyaging concubine - and it is this a fascination that will get him into a physical squabble just as in the terrible books of Thakur Vikram Singh.
